My wife and I have witnessed a drifting from knowledge and commitment to the Word of God both in the pulpit and in the pew. These are the days when some preachers reference one or two Bible verses and then go on to twist those verses to say what they do not say. Those in the pew have no clue that these verses are twisted because they do not know the Word to see the error. Our passion is two-fold:
First, we want to help others to be able to study the Word accurately. The Bible is God’s Word for us. According to 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT)
:
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
The Bible is our only guide to our faith and practice. If we do not know the Word, then we are ripe for deception by those who twist the Word.
Second, we want to help others defend their faith. The historic Christian faith is under attack more than ever by those who claim to be Christians. We will do videos that help others know what the historic Christian faith actually believes, and to be able to defend their faith.
Second, we want to help others be disciples of Jesus of Nazareth. This starts with integration into a local church that teaches the Word of God as the only standard truth. Let us make this clear: We are in no way, shape, or form, a replacement for participation, and worship with believers in a local congregation. We are here as a help for the local church and for those who are not currently in a local church. We pray that we will bring those to a point where they find and join a local church. We are also there for those who are in some way hindered from participating in a local church by physical issues.
